PRIVACY
Your music, your face, your data.

Fesono is operated by Asare Group. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to what you upload. Accounts are optional (Google sign-in), and there is no advertising and no analytics trackers.
What stays on your device
- Your projects — song, portrait, lyrics, timings, story scenes and finished videos — are saved in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded to us.
- Previews and exported videos are made in your browser. The finished video never leaves your device unless you share it.
- The lip-sync check on filmed singing shots runs in your browser: a face-tracking model (Google’s MediaPipe, downloaded from Google and jsDelivr) reads the clip on your device; the clip isn’t sent anywhere for it.
- When a filmed chorus or music video is cut while you’re signed in, its render report — figures only (likeness scores, lip-sync results, retries, reshoots, credits, time taken, length and treatment), with your account email and the project’s id, never the pictures or the song — is saved to your account so we can watch and improve film quality. Only our admins can read it.
- A film’s working files — its shot plan, the character sheet and place images, every still and filmed clip, earlier takes, and the release kit’s checklist — are kept in this browser’s storage. When you’re signed in, the film’s files are also saved to your account (private storage only your account can read), so you can carry on from another device; deleting the project or starting the film over removes them.
- Your brand (artist name, title style and logo) is kept in this browser, and in your account when you’re signed in.
- A promo clip’s selfie intro is recorded with your camera and microphone only when you press Record, and is cut into the clip in your browser. It is not uploaded or kept.
- Your studio passcode, your sign-in session, the project you last opened and any Performance job in progress (its ID and captions) are remembered in your browser (local storage). We do not use cookies for tracking.
- To remove it all, delete projects on the Projects page or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
If you join the waitlist
We keep the email address you give us, and the artist name and music link if you add them, in our database at Lovable Cloud, so we can invite you when a spot opens. We use it only for that invitation. Ask us and we'll remove it.
If you sign in with Google
Signing in is optional and uses Google through Lovable Cloud, our hosting provider’s account service (built on Supabase). It stores your email address, name and profile picture from Google, and when you signed in, so we can recognise you and check whether your email is on the invite list for the AI features. When you use a paid AI step while signed in, we record its type, the credits it used and its estimated cost against your account, along with your plan and any credits added, so your credit balance can be kept; admins can see this per person. Steps made with the studio passcode are recorded without an account. We never see your Google password, and we do not get access to your Google Drive, YouTube or other Google data. When you are signed in, your projects — the song, portrait, story images, finished video and settings — are also saved to your account in Lovable Cloud (private storage only your account can read), so you can open them on another device. Deleting a project deletes that copy too. Your brand (artist name, title style and logo) is saved to your account as well, so it appears on your other devices. To delete your account and everything saved with it, contact us.
What leaves your device, and why
Some steps need AI services. Each one runs only when you use that feature, and the file passes through our server to the provider:
- Lyrics and word timing — your song’s audio is sent to fal.ai for speech recognition (ElevenLabs Speech to Text); fal.ai stores the uploaded file to process it. The audio is also sent to Google’s Gemini models, through Lovable’s AI gateway, to suggest line breaks or as a backup.
- Story scenes — scene descriptions based on your lyrics are sent to image models (OpenAI and Google) through Lovable’s AI gateway. Your portrait is sent too, only for the scenes that feature the artist, if you choose “Every scene” or “Key moments” and confirm you may use that likeness.
- Your idea and the pitch — your lyrics, the song title, the idea you type and your choices (treatment, genre) are sent to Google’s Gemini models through Lovable’s AI gateway to propose directions for the video.
- Finding the hook — short excerpts of your song’s audio are sent to Google’s Gemini models through Lovable’s AI gateway to rate the strongest moments.
- YouTube publishing pack — the song title, artist name and lyrics are sent to Google’s Gemini models through Lovable’s AI gateway.
- Hook (singing clip) — the selected hook audio and the portrait are uploaded to fal.ai storage and processed by ByteDance’s OmniHuman model on fal.ai, with a short direction for the performance that can quote one lyric line.
- Film (the music video) — once you confirm you may use the likeness, your portrait is sent to image models (OpenAI and Google, through Lovable’s AI gateway) to make your character sheet, and the character sheet or portrait goes with each picture of you (the stills), together with the place and set images and a description built from your lyrics and idea. Each filmed shot then sends its still to fal.ai: singing shots go with that stretch of your song to ByteDance’s OmniHuman, acting, detail and moving stills to Kuaishou’s Kling (no audio), and world shots to ByteDance’s Seedance — which only ever receives the place image, never your face. fal.ai stores these files to process them.
- Likeness check — while filming, each still of you is compared with your portrait or character sheet by Google’s Gemini models, through Lovable’s AI gateway, so a picture that doesn’t look like you is remade before anything else is spent. Only the two pictures are sent, and nothing is kept by us.
These providers process the files under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploads to train AI models.
Payments — when you buy a plan or credits, checkout is run by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information under its own privacy policy; we never see your card. Paddle tells us your email address, what you bought and your plan’s renewal date, so we can add your credits.
What our servers see
Our servers pass your files to the providers above and do not keep them. To protect the service from abuse, they briefly hold your IP address (or, when signed in, your account ID) in memory to limit how many AI requests one visitor can make per minute. If the app hits an error, a technical error report (message, page and browser details) goes to our hosting provider, Lovable.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. Because projects live in your browser, deleting them there removes them. Files already sent to an AI provider are held under that provider’s retention rules; we will help you request deletion where possible. Contact us at legal@fesono.com.
